The dream of SPC Group to make the most tasteful and healthy bread in the world began with Sangmidang, which was a humble confectionary shop opened in Ongjin, Hwanghae-do, by the Honorary Chairman Hur, Chang Sung, who is the founder of Samlip General Food, in the year of 1945. Seeing the work of confectionary and bakery as the heavenly mission, the spirit of Sangmidang that does not leave a single piece of bread unchecked is still with us today, after 68 years since its foundation.
